PES 2020: River Plate and Boca Juniors will be exclusive too

PES 2020 Boca Juniors

In recent times, we have seen Konami taking giant steps towards leading the world of football games. This is because, after Juventus, PES 2020 will also hold exclusivity over other teams such as Boca Juniors and River Plate.

That is, if you buy FIFA 20, and if you want to play a friendly game between these two teams, you can still do so. Just taking into account the mitigating that the equipment, the symbol and even the name will differ.

How will these clubs look in FIFA 20? The solution is obviously very similar to what EA used with Juventus

Given that FIFA will no longer have exclusivity over River Plate and Boca Juniors. The teams will now be called Núñez FC and Buenos Aires FC respectively.

Moreover, as with Juventus, which will now be called Piemonte Calcio, the equipment will no longer be the same as the club’s symbol. Only with the exception that the players will remain the same.

So if you want to play with River Plate or Boca Juniors, with official symbol and equipment, you have to choose to buy PES 2020. Which in our opinion, still doesn’t make much sense given that the players will remain the same.

Will this team loss for PES 2020 directly affect FIFA fans?

In fact, we can conclude that despite the ways that the FIFA series provides fans. The biggest attraction turns out to be the Ultimate Team. That said, it will be a way that will not be affected by this loss of exclusivity.

This is because, according to what has been revealed, players will keep their names as well as their Overall’s. So once again we state that it would be a tremendous mistake to switch games just because of these changes.

PES 2020 will be released on September 10th. While FIFA 20 will be released on September 27th, both for PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
